AL LOKRIT ORNAMENTAL FLOWERS AND PLANTS, LLC was established in 1989 as a partnership in Sharjah, UAE.
In its early years, the company focused on importing and redistributing high-quality, exotic cut flowers from more than 15 countries.
With an emphasis on freshness and quality, Al Lokrit quickly gained a reputation for excellence in the floral industry.
As the company expanded its international footprint, 1996 marked a turning point with the rebranding to Al Lokrit International LLC.
This new name reflected the growing scope of operations, emphasizing the company’s reach beyond the UAE.
The early 2000s saw Al Lokrit's exponential growth as it diversified its business operations and expanded into new markets across the Middle East, Indian subcontinent, and Far East Asia.
This growth included establishing subsidiaries in Malaysia, India, and Thailand, further strengthening the company's sourcing capabilities.
In 2005, Al Lokrit ventured into landscaping services with the launch of the ‘Green Lifestyle’ brand.
This division focused on ornamental landscaping design, construction, and maintenance, catering to both indoor and outdoor spaces.
With in-house nurseries and a dedicated accessories trading division, the landscaping arm became a key player in the industry.
